and I'm still waiting...
yep, still no sign of the timber for the raised beds…grr frozen water in Norway!!! next your going to tell me a volcano will erupt and that will cause major travel/transportation chaos all over Europe!!
So with no sign of raw materials for raised beds a new plan has been struck, to dig up the grass and run a winding path down the middle. Will be loads cheaper and hopefully look even better....
Wooden sleepers stuck in ice
Tum tee tum…. twiddling my Gnome like thumbs today as stage 2 of major garden reconstruction has taken a major nose dive. The plan if you remember, is to add another 2 raised beds with gravel pathways around. The sun must be shining
The sound of kids playing and the smell of the first barbecues of the year… clearly the sun must have come out at last. I was quietly minding my own business, planting out my perpetual spinach, assorted chard, lettuce, beetroot, carrots and spring onions, when the pleasant sound of spring birdsong was surpassed by the magical sound of children at play.

Well I have been soooo busy, sowing more seeds and potting on as needed. Everything seems to be growing really well, I am such a green-fingered little Gnome even if I do say so myself.
I have so many tomato plants I am having to give them away. All seeds grew so 70 spare plants…madness.
