Last day of the holidays!!
Sob sob…. but not to worry Friday is a bank holiday too (thanks Kate and William) so 3 day week oh very nice thank you very much.
Just as well as the plants have had a massive growth spurt with all the hot weather over the weekend and there is lots to do again.
Amazes me as I see thing shooting out and growing even over night …. whole levels of awesomeness.

Loving the weather!
This unseasonably warm April is just perfect for the Easter hoildays, I have got lots of gardening done. On Monday I planted some bee and butterfly friendly flowers in the garden and started some more seeds off. Tidying the borders, I dug up the strawberry plants and gave them a new home in some hanging baskets, hopefully won’t be such a snail trap now! Unless the snails have climbing gear...

I am exhausted!
Woke up bright and early ready for the delivery of 10 bags of pea shingle and 3 of bark for the garden. Got off to an unfortunate start moving it from the front garden, misjudged the weight of the first bag of pea shingle and smack the trolley handle hit me hard on the mouth. Luckily I escaped broken teeth and a fat lip and all the bags were moved without further incident.

Busy busy day again
Well it is non stop in my Gnome garden….. my cloche arrived yesterday so I prepared my raised bed and planted 2 rows of beetroot (three different kinds red white and golden) and a row of carrots. In the greenhouse I planted seed potatoes in bags, and sowed more seeds. agh my back aches today.
The hens are such good company in the garden, although safe in their run they watch my every move....

Busy busy day
Got lots done today, planted loads of seeds and potted on plants that were getting a bit leggy. Bought hanging baskets, willow wigwams and ordered a cloche (which arrives tomorrow! thank you Amazon and Gerry’s credit card).
Tried to photograph the Blue Tits going in and out of the bird box, but not quick enough sorting out the camera and zoom lens! so I have left the camera set up in the...
